Last week I was in Sacramento doing a program on Exceeding Customer's Expectations. Much of what we teach is about communication and the science behind relationships. At the beginning of the second day, I was feeling a little tired. I've been traveling a lot and I was feeling a bit rundown. The regional manager was talking to the group for a few minutes and he asked, "So what do you think of the training so far?" There were many wonderful things said and then someone spoke up and said, "I want to thank you for this training. I know it's about business and it will help us in our jobs. But, what Bobbi is teaching us will make me a better person, a better parent and a better friend. I feel like I can now communicate and relate better to others. This is simply the most powerful program I have ever gone through." Several others spoke up to say similar things. I was sitting at the back of the room and I had to really fight not to start crying! Suddenly, I didn't feel quite so tired anymore. It's amazing to me how, when we know that we are engaged in pursuing our purpose, we come to life. I've seen it over and over again. It is so important that we understand how what we are doing contributes to something bigger and something that has substantial value for us. On one hand, my program was just a program on customer relationships. That is important to me. What is really important to me, though, is helping people have better relationships and ultimately a better life by simply being able to communicate and relate more effectively. That gets me out of bed in the mornings! What is that thing that gets you out of bed in the morning? To Your Success, Read More Success Builders Weekly™ About Success Builders Weekly™ Reader Feedback
