Last week wrapped up a whirlwind of travel and training for me. It's the project I mentioned last month where we are training over 900 people on Exceeding Customer Expectations. My reviews have been very, very good. A few days ago, one of the partners with the company that I have teamed up with, called me and said, "Well, we’ve seen the reviews and obviously they love you. I just want to check in with you to see if you love the experience as much as they all do?" I have to say, that sort of blew me away. How often does a manager or leader check in when in our performance is great? They assume that since others like what we are doing then everything must be okay. I also have to add that it made me feel very valued as a member of this team. Which brings up a good question: how do we make sure that those star performers who are on our teams know that we think they are a star? How do we insure that they feel valued? Science has shown us that high performers will leave a company or organization if they don’t feel like their contributions are valued. Is there someone on your team that you would hate to lose? Do they know that? To Your Success, Read More Success Builders Weekly™ About Success Builders Weekly™ Reader Feedback
